Will a woman’s nomination for president make a difference at the C-level?

The first hurdle for every gender, race or socioeconomic barrier to overcome is simply obtaining the right to have the opportunity to succeed. It is exciting to see the old “Anyone can become president” have a real opportunity for realization in our most recent elections.

The opportunity for this to translate into the C-suite and boardroom, I think, is tied to the actual performance of those pioneers. As women continue to demonstrate innovation and success in leadership roles, the opportunities will continue to open up for qualified women throughout the business world.
