CJ Amman joined the Confluent team in October 2024. CJ assists the Controller and Manager’s with financial reporting, tax compliance, and monthly accounting. Prior to Confluent CJ spent 5 years at Plante Moran a public accounting firm, working in auditing for real estate, technology, and energy industries. He also spent time working in Plante Moran’s Transaction Advisory Consulting Group, where he prepared due diligence reports for clients by working with target companies to prepare quality of earnings and net working capital reports. At Plante Moran he worked on their Recruiting Team to help mentor college students, interns, and staff.
CJ earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from University of Colorado - Boulder, with a certificate in Data Analytics. He received his master’s degree in accounting from CSU Global Campus.
Outside of work, CJ enjoys the outdoors and having an active lifestyle - skiing, scuba diving, traveling, camping, hiking, volleyball, basketball, biking, and swimming. He also loves spending time with his yellow lab, Mazy.
