Steve Strom is a member of the Senior Housing development team at Confluent. Steve works closely with our operating partners and is personally involved with all aspects of development, including site selection, entitlements, design, construction, marketing/lease-up, financing and asset management.
Steve has more than 17 years of experience in commercial real estate, spanning brokerage, corporate advisory, and senior housing development. Prior to Confluent, Steve led a regional development team with Ryan Companies and played a key role in the ground-up development of more than 1,600 senior housing units across six states. Prior to that, he was a Principal and Shareholder with an international commercial real estate firm.
Steve holds a B.S. from Bethel University in Saint Paul, Minnesota, is a proud alumnus and recipient of the inaugural 4 Under 40 Alumni Award. Steve previously served on the boards of Alzheimer’s Association of MN & ND and the Bethel University Foundation.
In his free time, Steve enjoys spending time with family and friends—often fishing, hunting, golfing, or visiting the family cabin.
